The Town of Dover is excited to announce the launch of the first annual Dover Farmers’ Market! Beginning on Sunday, June 3 at 10AM, local farmers and vendors will gather at the Crescent Field parking lot B, located near the Dover Train Station on the corner of S. Morris & E. Dickerson Streets, to provide area shoppers with an opportunity to enjoy New Jersey grown produce, specialty foods and artisan products. “Our primary goal is to provide residents with convenient access to fresh, local foods,” said Dover Mayor James P. Dodd “We’re hoping people will make the market part of their weekend routine, and that it will become gathering place” An assortment of farmed foods and natural products will be available including seasonal produce, meats, cheeses, baked goods and specialty foods. The market will run every Sunday through November 11 from 10AM-2PM. Public restrooms are available on-site. Some vendors are set up to process debit and credit cards, but others will only take cash. A SNAP program will be available through the Town of Dover for residents if applicable.
