The American Labor Museum invites students grades 3-12 to share their creative talent and unique ideas by writing a poem about the historic figures and events of the 1913 Paterson Silk Strike and the significance that it has 100 years later. Selected students' poems will appear in a poetry book, printed in commemoration of the centennial of the strike. Poems and registration forms must be received by the museum by April 1, 2013. The poetry book will be unveiled at a reception at the museum for student poets and their families on May 1, 2013.
