Ancients To Astronauts: How We Communicate

From the ancient Egyptians to early rocket science and the future of space travel, the history and science of communication is brought to life through scenic displays in this hands-on, interactive exhibition designed for children ages 6 – 12 years.

The overall theme of communication encompasses four exhibitions on a variety of different subjects. Visitors begin their tour with a walk through a timeline display providing a historical perspective of communication through many revolutionary discoveries.

Experience weather and learn how weather reports are broadcast, travel to Ancient Egypt in a time machine, blast off in a Friendship 7 capsule in our Space Exhibition and discover new crafting experiences in our popular Green Arts Studio.  Located in the Becker Children’s Wing.


$8 per person, children under 2 are free
