At Rockaway Orthodontics, Dr. Melissa Roberto provides high-quality orthodontic treatment in a warm, nurturing environment. Recently expanded to welcome three new staff members, the practice tailors treatment to each patient’s individual needs. Dr. Roberto and her team take the time to answer questions, and always invite parents to remain with their child during appointments.
“As our practice grows, we remain committed to the same vision: to make orthodontic visits pleasant, stress-free and rewarding for patients and their parents,” says the Rockaway mother of two. “We want our practice to feel like a home away from home.”
Putting Families First
Passionate about her local community, Dr. Roberto participates in local events and hosts programs like Operation Gratitude, which encourages patients to donate Halloween candy and write letters to soldiers in exchange for prizes.
“There’s a strong sense of community in our office—so many of our families live here in the local community and have referred our practice to their friends,” she says.
Rockaway Orthodontics offers interest-free treatment financing and a no-down-payment option. The all-digital practice uses the latest technologies, including metal, ceramic, lingual and self-ligating braces, Invisalign, interceptive orthodontics, TMD treatment, surgical orthodontics and TADs. “We want to alleviate parents’ anxieties about everything from treatment to financing,” Dr. Roberto says.
Where Great Smiles Begin
Dr. Roberto graduated from Trenton State College, now TCNJ. She earned her DMD and orthodontic specialty certificate at UMDNJ.
“I went to dental school because I remember how much my personal experience with orthodontics boosted my confidence as a teenager,” she says. “The expression that comes across our patients’ faces when they see their beautiful new smile for the first time is incredibly rewarding.”
