Has your little one conquered the bunny slope yet? If not, there’s likely no better time to learn than at Mountain Creek’s epic (and free) lesson on January 5.

The Vernon staple is a go-to for winter fun in NJ, and will give they’re giving back by attempting to host the biggest lesson they’ve ever run on Largest Lesson Day. The day is in honor of National Learn to Ski and Snowboard Month. Last year, 212 newbies got suited up and took on the mountain for the first time.

Anticipating an even bigger crowd this year, the lesson will be split in two: 10 am for skiing and 1 pm for snowboarding. Not only is admission free to both, but equipment rental is also included, as well as a limited-access lift ticket.

Bonus? Every participant gets the chance to purchase the Discover Package for $50 off the regular price of $169. The Discover Package includes 3 anytime lessons including equipment rentals.

Mountain Creek is located at 123 Rte. 94 in Vernon. Meet at the Red Tail Lodge Rental Shop before the lesson of your choice. For more information, visit mountaincreek.com or call 973-827-2000.
