While you’re there, go for one of the decadent numbers on the Triple Layer menu, like the Cotton Candy or the Tie Dye. Better yet, get something off the A Little Extra section: the Fair Haven (vanilla glaze, Heath bars, almonds and caramel), the West Park (chocolate glaze and a huge heap of Bavarian cream) or the All American (a sweet twist on a PB&J with black raspberry preserves). The sourdough doughnuts are vegan and take 36 hours to make, leaving you with a crips, tangy, tarty and chewy dessert.

This unique locale has its own Doughnut Hall of Fame, which features strawberry sprinkles, chocolate sprinkles, tres leches and glazed donuts. The Boston Cream or Maple Bacon have custard made with locally-sourced, farm fresh eggs. Or try a “wobble” variety, like the Nutella or maple sourdough.
