If you’ve been pining for a night out without dropping some serious cash, book a sitter and take advantage of Hudson Restaurant Week January 23 to February 3.

So far 45 restaurants scattered throughout Jersey City, Hoboken, Weehawken, Fort Lee and Edgewater are participating in the county’s annual event. Try a recently-opened restaurant like City Perch Kitchen in Fort Lee, Halifax and The Havana Cafe in Hoboken or The Hutton and  South House in Jersey City, all for under $40 per person. Or stick with a favorite mainstay like The Chart House or Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse in Weehawken FYI: Most spots have lunch deals, too.

So what’s typically included in the per person price? It depends on the restaurant, but most places offer a fixed menu option with your choice of an appetizer, entree and dessert, which means it’s perfect for sharing.

Make sure to scan the full list of participating restaurants and book your reservation ASAP, because they fill up really quickly. Bon app!
