THE PROBLEM: Dark Under Eye Circles

PRO TIP

“Lean toward a concealer with a peachier tinge if you have a fair skin tone,” says Alexa Prisco, a Hoboken-based makeup artist better known as the Glam Fairy. “If you have dark purple and blue circles under your eyes, you’re going to want to counteract them with an orange tint since that’s on the opposite side of the color wheel and works for most other skin tones.”

THE PROBLEM: Adult Acne

PRO TIP

“Adult acne is best tackled using a concealer with a blemish treatment like salicylic acid built into it,” says Daniela Musano, the owner of Araya Rebirth, a makeup, massage therapy and skin care studio in Ridgewood. “The acid fights off bacteria and helps acne go away quicker.”
