If you have been to East Hanover's Funplex in the past six months (and if you live in the area and having kids who go to birthday parties, that's a strong likelihood), you've probably seen the makings of their their new Splashplex addition. It's a 130,000 foot expansion of their original water playground.

The update consists of the addition of a 364-foot long Constrictor Tube Tunnel, an enclosed slide composed of two circular tubes, allowing for guests to ride alone or with a friend. They’ve also added two 45-foot speed slides that will get funseekers 48” or taller to the bottom in seconds, a 5-foot deep waterfall pool and a slow-paced lazy river (a great way to cool down on a scorching afternoon.)

There's also the Open-Top Tunnel ride (a fast-moving slide that intertwines with the Constrictor), as well as a shallow play area complete with a gigantic dumping bucket, water blasters and water hoses.

The Splashplex has also upgraded all of its outdoor amenities, including new changing rooms, bathrooms and a food service area complete with tables and umbrellas.

Tickets cost $36 per person a day and season passes are $93 and grant access up until Labor Day. For more pricing information go to funplexeasthanover.com.
