The Foot Health Center offers injury prevention, education and treatment for adult and pediatric foot and ankle care. Dr. Michael V. Verdi, practice founder, is recognized for his skills in pediatric foot care plus bunion, hammertoe surgery, and sports medicine and surgery. Dr. Verdi offers personalized, compassionate care along with podiatric surgeons Drs. Kirsten Barisonek, Danielle Acampora and Doug DeLorenzo.

“We love that we can help improve a child’s quality of life,” Dr. Verdi says. The practice utilizes cutting-edge technology to provide faster diagnoses and less painful procedures, including digital X-rays, computerized orthotics and EPAT for heel pain.

A board certified podiatrist, Dr. Verdi completed his foot and ankle residency at St. Barnabas Medical Center, where he maintains hospital privileges. Dr. Barisonek attended Temple School of Podiatric Medicine and completed her surgical foot and ankle residency at New York Methodist Hospital. “We’re passionate about keeping children active and pain-free,” Dr. Barisonek says.
