This feel-good Disney Channel original movie is great for all ages, with Hilary Duff starring as an unconventional young woman attempting to fit in at military school.

Share the joy of a family-favorite classic with your kids. This wonderful film from 1994 includes hilarious shenanigans, secret handshakes and even an adorable romance between Alfalfa and Darla.

Did your kids love the Despicable Me movies? If they can’t get enough of these crazy guys, they’ll go wild for this prequel that recounts the tale of how the little yellow characters ended up on the dark side by taking them through many major historical events.

 

Mr. Peabody and Sherman

Based on the 1960's animated series Rocky and Bullwinkle, this re-imagined movie serves up a creative and funny story about a boy and his dog’s fantastic time-travel journey.

 

Mulan

One of our favorite classic films, this movie portrays a strong leading lady who must join the army and fight the Huns in order to honor her sick father, all while pretending to be a man!  Her sidekick, Mushu, is not exactly the brave dragon she imagined her ancestors would send to help her on this journey. Lots of laughs--and heartfelt tears in this one.

 

Pandas: The Journey Home

Best for Kids: 6+

Calling all animal lovers! This short 36-minute movie features the cute pandas of China’s Wolong Panda Center who have been bred in captivity and are ready to start their new lives out in the wild.

 

Spy Kids

Best for Kids: 7+

Sibling rivalry and top-secret, undercover spy missions star in this adventure.  Your kids will be thrilled by all the cool, high-tech gadgets in the movie as well!

 

Tarzan

Best for Kids: 6+

Another great Disney classic. When his family is shipwrecked on the African coast, this young boy must learn how to live in the wild,  with a little help from his gorilla family and jungle friends.

 

Zathura

Best for Kids: 8+

Love Jumanji? This is a more futuristic version of a movie about a board game come to life. Hunger Games fans will recognize a young Josh Hutcherson before he became the face of Peeta in the popular movie franchise.
