Easter and Spring Decor

Keep kids busy on their spring breaks with some simple crafts!

Easter is just around the corner, and I couldn’t be happier! This past winter was a long, cold one, so I am more than eager to welcome spring into my home.

I’ll definitely want to help usher in the spring and Easter season by adding some fun spring and Easter decorations to my home. I gathered some spring and Easter decorating and craft advice from some of my favorite bloggers so I can get started! You can, too! Several of these crafts are simple enough for children to try, so these projects would be a great way to keep kids busy on their spring breaks!

Peep Wreath

You can’t help but smile when you see this adorable Peep Wreath from Vanessa at the Tried and True blog. I would have trouble not eating this wreath!

Spring Table

I may have to steal the spring table design from Sonya of At Home with the Barkers. Her table is so sweet with the ceramic bunnies, moss tablescape and twig balls. Adorable!

Burlap Bunny Pillows
I have already purchased the fabric to make these bunny burlap pillows from Down Home Inspiration. The pillows are simple to make, and my children will just adore them, I am sure!

Easter Table

Kathe’s beautiful Easter dinnerware on the Kathe with an E blog makes me want to run out and buy some Easter-themed place settings! Her robin-egg blue plates are gorgeous.

Bunny Family Collection

Kathe from Kathe With an E also has a beautiful collection of Easter rabbits that I wish would hop on over to my home! My kids would love to have an Easter display like this in our house.

Canvas Glitter Bunny

There’s always some glitter and Mod Podge in my home, so I can’t wait to make the Canvas Glitter Bunny by Jenna from Rain on a Tin Roof. I think the canvas glitter bunny would look splendid on my home’s fireplace mantel.

Burlap Easter Banner

If you have a sewing machine, this Easter Banner from The Happier Homemaker should be easy to make. I bet you could even make this cute banner with just fabric glue or Stitch Witchery, too, if you don’t want to sew.

German Glass Glitter Eggs

The German Glass Glitter Eggs made by Jessica from Mom 4 Real are just beautiful! What’s wonderful about her project is that she suggests using paper mache eggs, so the decorated eggs can be enjoyed year after year! (But you wouldn’t want to eat these eggs!)
