There are lots of Easter themed parades, hunts and breakfasts, but these are the ones you won't want to miss.



Easter Bunny Fly-In at Solberg Airport

Have you ever seen a bunny fly? At this annual event, the Easter Bunny arrives via biplane for meet-and-greets with his little fans. There’s also face painting, hot air balloon launches and a bounce house. Admission is free, but some activities have an additional fee.

The Easter Bunny Express

When: April 2, 8, 9, 14 and 15 at 11 am, 1 and 3 pm
Where: 80 Stangl Road, Flemington, NJ 08822

Cost: $16/adult, $9/child, free/under 3 yrs.

The Easter Bunny Express takes you on a roundtrip ride between their Flemington and Ringoes station. The ride between stations is 25 minutes long (perfect if the kids want to get up and out to stretch their legs) and the whole adventure ends with a 15 minute stop at their gift car and museum car. Oh, and you'll get to meet Peter Cottontail along the ride.

Horseback Easter Egg Hunt

When: Throughout the months of March and April (call for reservations) 
Where: Acres Away LLC, 926 County Rd 579, Flemington
Cost: $20 each children/adult for short ride or $55 for adult trail ride

Take the kids on a horseback ride (there are short ones for the newbie riders) and during the ride (hour for full rides, 15 minutes on hand-led rides), the kids can look for Easter eggs that have been hidden throughout the woods. 

24th Annual Easter Bunny Express

Where: Whippany Railway Museum, Whippany
Date: April 8, 9 and 15
Time: 1-4 pm at the top of every hour 
Cost: $14/adult, $9/child, free/under 1 yr. Registration required.

These annual spring train rides are sure to become an annual tradition for your family—what kid doesn't love riding on a train? And when you add in a meet-and-greet with the Easter Bunny and the train crew, this 45-minute round-trip ride along the Morristown and Erie Railway’s historic Whippanong Trail is sure to be a family favorite.

Easter Egg Hunt at Allaire Village

Where: Allaire Village
Date: April 15
Time: 11 am–4 pm
Cost: $6/person

Kids get divided into age-appropriate groups to hunt for over 10,000 eggs among the beautiful grounds of Historic Allaire Village. Families can join Clifford the Big Red Dog for story time and make their own Easter bonnet for the special parade. Make sure you register before to save your spot!

Easter Bunny Breakfast & Egg Hunt

When: April 1, 2 and 16
Where: Imagine That, 4 Vreeland Rd., Florham Park
Time: 10 am each day
Cost: $16.99 for child, $14.99 for adult

With a breakfast of bagels, followed up with an Easter parade, plus an egg hunt and bunny photos, this event is one-stop shopping for Easter morning activities. If that's still not enough, each kid will get their own Easter basket.

Annual Easter Egg Hunt

When: April 15
Where: Liberty Hall Museum, Union
Time: 10–11:30; Noon–1:30
Cost: $10 for 1 adult and 1 child. (additional adults $5) Reg. required.

The grounds of the museum are a beautifully landscaped adventure, so there are lots of neat hiding places for eggs. Kids can run through the hedges to find hidden eggs filled with holiday treats. After they can visit with the famous Easter Bunny!

Easter Bunny Train Ride & Easter Egg Hunt

When: April 8, 9 and 15
Where: 99 Elizabeth St., Phillipsburg
Time: 11 am, 12:30, 2 and 3:30 pm
Cost: $11/ children, $18/person.

This Easter Bunny train has the coolest rest stop ever—at the historic Lime Kilns, where kids can wander around and look for eggs. The train ride itself goes along the Delaware River to Carpentersville and features visits from Bunny before heading back to Phillipsburg.

Bunny Chase at Terhune Orchards

When: April 15 and 16
Where: Terhune Orchards, Princeton
Time: 10 am - 4 pm

The Bunny Chase is back for another year. The kids will go on a treasure hunt, following clues to find a big surprise (we'll give you a hint—this is a BUNNY Chase). They'll also make a bunny craft, go on a wagon ride and get to see tons of farm animals.

Morey's Pier Annual Easter Celebration

When: April 16
Where: Morey's Pier, Wildwood
Time: Noon - 5 pm
Cost: Free

Spend your Easter Sunday by the beach. The kids will get to do an egg hunt, with chances to win cool pier-themed prizes from fries and stuffed animals to tickets to the water park and amusement park.

Easter Egg Hunt and Bonnet Contest 

When: April 15
Where: Heaven Hill Farm, Vernon 
Time: Starts at noon

Meet the Bunny, take a hay ride, play with a bunch of adorable farm animals and don't miss the annual bonnet contest to show off your own hat creations.
