Diggerland in West Berlin tends to bring up memories of warm spring and summer days out on the dirt and machine rides. But have you ever visited at the end of the year? The construction theme park is celebrating the season with Winterfest, an ongoing festival that opens November 17.

In addition to all the heavy machinery and attractions available year-round, the month-long fest boasts a holiday hayride, parade and decor to get little builders in the spirit. Your fam will also get to chow down on winter-inspired bites, thaw out at the bonfire and decorate ornaments. The kids won’t want to miss a meet-and-greet with D-Rex and Daisy, either, the dinosaur park mascots.

Kickoff weekend on November 17-18 is also Play-Doh Weekend, so guests can let their imaginations run wild at the Play-Doh Modeling Compound play station, learn to use new Play-Doh products and snap pics at the photo op area. Better yet, the first 500 kids (ages 3+) to enter the park on each day will score a free Play-Doh product from the new WHEELS collection.

Winterfest runs Saturdays and Sundays weather-permitting through December 30, plus December 26-28. Included with general admission ticket ($29.95-34.95) or membership ($54.95/unlimited visits and additional perks). Diggerland is located at 100 Pinedge Dr. in West Berlin. Visit diggerlandusa.com or call 856-454-8044 for more information.
