Delta Dental President On the Importance of Oral Health

Dennis Wilson reminds us that our teeth are just as important as the rest of us

Published:

We know staying healthy is important, but we don’t always remember to keep our dental health in mind. According to Dennis Wilson, president and CEO of Delta Dental of New Jersey, medical and oral health are one in the same—your mouth is part of your body, after all. Even though NJ has some of the best oral health care around, there are plenty of people who don’t have the access or means to afford dental care. NJTV's One-on-One host Steve Adubato sits down with Wilson to discuss how his non-profit is working to change that, whether it’s by bringing services to underprivileged communities via van or providing scholarships to students working towards being dental hygienists.
