Six Flags Great Adventure

After almost two decades, Hurricane Harbor is getting a major new upgrade. The 45-acre summer highlight at Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson, is bringing a huge activity pool into the mix for the 2019 season.

Calypso Springs will be a 100,000-gallon pool boasting a fountain (complete with a geyser the kids will love being surprised by) and a beach. Around the open-air deck will be stocked with hundreds of chairs, giant umbrellas and Bimini shade covers available for rent.

The pool will be right next door to the Taak It Eez Ee Creek lazy river and the Tornado water slide, not to mention a new dining location you’ll be able to chow down at between dips. Calypso Springs joins the rankings of 25 slides, a million-gallon wave pool, a half-mile lazy river and two splash playgrounds your little fish could spend all day in.

Make waves at any of these attractions with Hurricane Harbor admission (2019 prices are still TBA). The park reopens May 18.
