Nothing pairs with a good meal like an epic view. Bring your camera (and your appetite) to these next-level spots in northern NJ that boast gorgeous views of the Big Apple.

Blue Eyes Restaurant

525 Sinatra Dr., Hoboken
201-683-6861

Named after Hoboken’s most famous and beloved crooner, Blue Eyes sits along the Hudson. Soak up views of the Freedom Tower as you sample from a menu of Italian dishes like grilled branzino with fresh herbs, orecchiette with sausage and broccoli rabe and fresh pizza napoletana. Spring and summer here mean al fresco sitting, a raw bar and gelato stand.

Charrito’s

Hoboken, Weehawken

Get your fix of Mexican at this casual spot boasting fajitas, enchiladas, tacos, tostadas and other staples. Don’t skim past the drink menu: sip something new like Agua de Jamaica (hibiscus flower water) or Horchata (rice water). Vegetarian at the table? Head to the downtown Hoboken locale for a meat-free menu with highlights like cactus salad, elote (Mexican street corn) and vegetable picadillo burritos.

Chart House

1700 Harbor Blvd., Weehawken
201-348-6628

This date night haven is all about seafood. Start with cornerstones like crab cake topped with avocado corn relish and lemon shallot butter, pepper seared ahi tuna tartare tacos or fresh gazpacho. Follow up with beer battered fish and chips, macadamia nut mahi or sweet and spicy grouper with rum butter and coconut ginger rice.

Del Frisco’s Grille

221 River St., Hoboken
201-653-0195

Thanks to a partnership with Double Eagle Steakhouse, you can expect next-level hand-cut beef in the form of filet mignon, prime ribeye and prime rib. Other highlights include citrus herb salmon with roasted asparagus and charred lemon, pan-seared scallops with goat cheese polenta and pine nut gremolata and brick chicken with hand-mashed potatoes.

Haven

2 Main St., Ste. G, Edgewater
201-943-1900

Talk about a romantic night out. With awards and titles such as Best Seafood and Best Ambiance, you can’t go wrong with a breezy summer night by the water savoring dishes like creamy seafood risotto, pan seared Chilean sea bass over white soba noodles and enoki trumpet mushrooms and lamb shank with sweet pepper mascarpone risotto and burnt butter tomato confit. Don’t miss weekend brunch (go for the breakfast pizzetta with eggs, arugula, fresh mutz, parmesan and garlic bechamel).

House of Que

340 Sinatra Dr., Hoboken
201-706-8755

Score sophisticated views of Manhattan while chowing down on no-frills barbecue grub. Complete with an authentic Texas pitmaster, this resto is packed with Austin BBQ fare like pulled pork, juicy brisket, ribs and smoked sausage. Don’t miss cocktails like Driftwood Sunset Punch (Tito’s, lemonade, peach puree, mint, lime) or the Texas Mule (ginger spiced whiskey, ginger beer, lime juice, simple syrup).

Komegashi too

103 Montgomery St., Jersey City
201-433-4567

Perfect for a special night out, this contemporary Japanese resto prioritizes freshness, comfort and seasonal offerings. From extravagant sushi and a stocked bar to samurai steak (ribeye marinated in soybean paste with wasabi miso sauce) to brothy udon and soba noodles, this spot has it all.

Le Jardin

1257 River Rd., Edgewater
201-224-9898

Say oui to off-the-charts views and authentic French cuisine. Make it easy with the prix fixe sunset menu, or get picky with the dinner menu featuring Euro gems like veal provencal, polet auvin blanc (artichoke heart, mushroom and pearl onions in white wine sauce) or red snapper in a garlic and brandy lobster sauce (oh, did we mention the shrimps, scallops clams and mussels, too?). Call to get deets on the next lobster or flamenco night.

Liberty House Restaurant

76 Audrey Zapp Dr., Jersey City
201-395-0300

This is arguably one of the state’s most raved about al fresco spots. With craft cocktails like Liberty Punch (gin, green chartreuse, lime, chamomile tea and rosemary), events like mixology classes and special food tastings and a sustainable, seasonal menu with tons of local ingredients, you can’t go wrong with a warm night on the patio. Scour the raw bar, bring your appetite for housemade sweet pea gnocci or pappardelle with pork bolognese and end the night with signature sweets like pink peppercorn bread pudding or lychee sorbet.

Lutze Biergarten

Waterfront, 3 Second St., Jersey City
201-915-8508

Feel like a kid again at this outdoor venue with grown-up Jenga, cornhole and more grassy lawn game fun. Get a signature drink or German beer to wash down fresh pizza (made to order in an outdoor oven!), Bavarian pretzels, lobster rolls, bratwurst and raw shrimp. End the night in proper biergarten fashion with a cold brew and warm apple strudel.

Maritime Parc

84 Audrey Zapp Dr., Jersey City
201-413-0050

Think old-school fish house gone mod. Watch your plate be prepped in the open kitchen, sip at the outdoor bar on the split-level patio, make a date for brunch so you can get your hands on buttermilk pancakes with blackberry preserves and maple fluff or brown sugar bacon or splurge on dinner (menu items include sake and soy braised pork belly, braised lobster over fennel pollen tagliatelle in tarragon cream, and caramel apple sticky cake with ginger beer ice cream, granny apple froth and warm caramel).

Molos

1 Pershing Rd., Weehawken
201-223-1200

Greek and Mediterranean is always a win; but it doesn’t get better than Greek and Mediterranean with views of NYC through floor-to-ceiling windows. Treat yourself to baklava pancakes or Greek coffee-crusted steak and eggs at brunch, or dinner options like seafood orzo and kotopoulo roast chicken with lemon potatoes.

Orama

595 River Rd., Edgewater
201-945-2020

Feeling fancy? Take in culinary delights like octopus with black garlic, potato and seaweed, or torchon of foie gras with rhubarb, then follow up with big plates like like halibut with asparagus and charred cucumber juice or the famous 24-ounce Orama steak. Go from Wednesday-Sunday to dig into an epic sushi menu, including a romantic sushi boat for two chock-full of Chef Suzuki’s finest rolls and sashimi.

Piggyback Bar

200 Hudson St., Jersey City
201-345-7775

This spot’s quite the mashup: NYC views from Harborside, hip-hop and reggae tunes, an urban gastropub feel, and an inspired Southeast Asian menu. Imbibe signature sips like Hurricane Shandy (vodka, ginger liqueur, lemon, orange bitters) or Harborside Boulevard (bourbon, coffee-infused cynar, sweet vermouth, mole bitters) before digging into Korean honey butter wings with sweet Gochujang garlic sauce, ceviche with fresh coconut milk, lime and corn nuts, or kimchi pulled pork with pickles and ginger scallion aioli.

Rooftop at Exchange Place

1 Exchange Pl., Jersey City
551-256-7850

This stunning giant consists of multi-level indoor and outdoor spots to hang, The RoofTop and The Terrace. While the food is top notch (think prosciutto flatbread, burrata with pickled beets and sweet basil-orange marmalade, and fresh poke bowls), the star of this spot is the cocktail list. Sip Jersey-inspired libations like the Garden State (vodka, cucumber syrup, elderflower cordial, lime juice) or Under the Boardwalk (spiced rum, coconut syrup, pineapple and lime juices). Come on the weekend to bop to a live DJ on the roof, or smooth piano in The Terrace.

Rumba Cubana

6909 JFK Boulevard E., Guttenberg
201-854-4000

Paradise isn’t as far away as you think. Come here for show-stopping tropical drinks (mojitos and pina coladas, people!), authentic and reimagined Cuban food and lively music. While there are other locations in Clifton and North Bergen, Guttenberg’s serves up the Instaworthy views of the city. Go for Cuban standards like Ropa Vieja (shredded beef simmered in a tomato-base sauce), carne con papas (beef and potato stew) and croquetas de jamon (ham croquettes). For dessert, savor flan de coco or head downstairs to the attached Cuban bakery.

Son Cubano

40-4 Riverwalk Pl., West New York
201-399-2020

Get a taste of 1950s Cuba: the glamour, elegance, music and, of course, the food. Sit in one of the two luxurious dining areas before making a trip to the bar for cocktails like Guava Punch (guava rum, muddled lime, kafir lime essence, pineapple juice, guava puree). Take a seat on the patio or walk down to the water’s edge for stunning views of Manhattan after getting your fill of dishes like tuna picadillo with avocado and pineapple, vaca frita (seared hanger steak with yucca or pernil with corn chorizo stew.

Surf City

1 Marin Blvd., Jersey City
201-516-9000

Get all the cozy magic of a Jersey shore bar without the traffic. Peep the Statue of Liberty as you explore all five on-the-water bars (including one completely devoted to frozen tropical drinks!) Keep it simple with classic bar food featuring chicken wings, burgers and, most importantly, sea fare like mussels, steamed clams and beer battered cod with fries.

Vu Restaurant

2 Exchange Pl., Jersey City
201-469-1234

Within the Hyatt Regency Jersey City on the Hudson, Vu serves fresh fare with beyond satisfying views. Huge windows let in light and city sights, so savor those while you choose from dinner items like sweet and sour baby back ribs and pan roasted halibut. Indulge in drinks like the Chair Fashioned, made with rye, tea-infused simple syrup and black walnut bitters. Vu’s kids’ menu has picks like a grilled pita snack tray, grilled chicken with potatoes and veggies and an organic turkey burger.

Waterside Restaurant and Catering

7800 B River Rd., North Bergen
201-861-7767

Start off with a bang, whether it be the raw bar, formaggi or cheese. Follow up with ricotta stuffed zucchini blossoms, crispy braised beef brisket with creamy polenta or baked lobster mashed potatoes. Three words: Banana bread pudding.
